In The Summer of 2007, I started planning the DcTubeGathering with
a Fellow YouTuber named John, MindofMusic.
It was the first “contained” gathering within a building.
It was also the first event to mix both sponsors and charities.
Our charity that we involved was
The Diabetes Association.
Some of our sponsors included Red Bull, Island Oasis and The Alexandria Chamber Of Commerce
We chose a night club/Restaurant that had a huge parking lot,
We secured entertainment from the YouTube Community itself,
And made sure our event was family friendly.
Our event even had hourly door prizes
